#TheSpecialOne takes PH and Enugu by storm as Guinness Africa Special lights up the cities

Following weeks of suspense and anticipation, the cities of Port Harcourt and Enugu last weekend witnessed what can be described as the biggest events of the year. It was an amazing special party by the iconic brand beer, Guinness to celebrate its latest product, Guinness Africa Special and it brought with it a lot of buzz and excitement. 

 

The fun began at Aztech Arcum event centre, PH on Friday December 4, 2015 where thousands of youngsters and fun lovers gathered to welcome #TheSpecialOne to the garden city. The PH event was hosted by popular comedian, Dan D Humorous, with DJ Spinall bringing down the roof with his energetic line up. Olamide and Phyno kept the crowd yearning for more while Godwin Strings, graffiti artist Osa7 and DNMT added creativity and colour to the event. They were joined by great local acts; Knowledge, Young Stunnah and Dannas.
Guests also got a chance to make the night their own with an instant T-shirt making experience and UV body painting. It was certainly a night alive and full of colour, creativity and energy!!
Two days later, the fun train hit the coal city of Enugu at the Polo Park, Shoprite where Phyno treated a large crowd of party lovers to a night of fun marked with exciting performances and loads of Guinness Africa Special which was adjudged drink of the night by many present. The event also had top local acts like Sym 19, Pacifik, Zoro and others to thrill guests with DJ Spinall dishing out exciting vibes all night.
The atmosphere charged up at the sight of Phyno who closed the night with some of his popular songs including Alobam, Connect and several others.
Guinness Africa Special is the latest addition to the Guinness family. It is the distinctive quality of Guinness stout blended with Natural African Extracts giving it a vibrant and refreshing taste that is alive with our African spirit at 5% abv.
It is a brand that has been made by us and for us, with natural herbs and spices including ginger, grown in our African soil. Young Nigerian and African designers designed the packaging. The Ankara harp and pattern on the packaging proudly projects our African routes and creative spirit! The beer has been tailored to young people’s tastes and at a price they can afford at just N200.
